What is peak contraction? Peak contraction means that when a certain movement reaches the most tense position of muscle contraction, maintain the most tense state of contraction and do static exercises (that is, when the movement reaches the most tense state of the muscle, stop for a few seconds and squeeze hard muscle) and then slowly return to the starting position of the movement.

This action should be familiar to friends who regularly exercise. Peak contraction can stimulate the muscles more deeply and have a very obvious effect on sculpting muscle lines. Unfortunately, I have always neglected this movement in the past, so my muscles have a certain size, but the lines are not very obvious. Fortunately, I don’t have much body fat.

If you have little body fat and unsatisfactory muscle lines, you must make good use of peak contraction in training. For example, when doing biceps training with dumbbell curls, hold the forearm and upper arm at 90 degrees for a few seconds, squeeze the biceps, and slowly lower it. Add peak contraction to each set of training. Of course, you must pay attention to this. The stimulation of the peak contraction will be stronger, so the weight you choose should be lighter than ordinary, and the movements should be more standard. Don't just go for heavy weights.
